Midnight Danger
Midnight Danger is a Synth/Retrowave project from Stockholm-Sweden, created by producer and guitarist Chris Young in late 2015. Inspired by the new wave of synth music, Midnight Danger is a nostalgic soundtrack experience full of synthesizers and guitar riffs, delivering lots of power, punch and retro vibes.
After successfully releasing a few singles between 2015 and 2016, Midnight Danger was handpicked by NRW Records/New Retro Wave – a leading label in the Synthwave/Retrowave scene to be part of the “Magnatron 2.0” compilation alongside some of the biggest names in the scene such as Daniel Deluxe, Waveshaper, Tokyo Rose, Alex and many others.
Following the release of “Magnatron 2.0”, Midnight Danger played his debut gig in Stockholm supporting Californian duo Dance With The Dead which was immediately sold out. In the same year, the production of the debut album “Malignant Force” was concluded and the album was released in January 2018 via NRW Records. The reception of the album was astounding, leading to the album vinyl release selling out in just a matter of weeks.
A few more live shows followed with Midnight Danger playing his first international shows. UK (London, Milton Keynes and Glasgow) and France (Paris) were some of the shows that followed, with Midnight Danger gaining not only raving reviews and feedback for his performances but also the trust of co-touring artists, fans and promoters alike and paving the road for greater things and even more live performances.
